The Quilt House: A Picturesque Mountain Retreat in Estes Park

The house was a great place for four couples to stay. It was very comfortable, spacious, and had great kitchen to prepare meals for a large group. The upper deck and back patio were great spots to gather and share time together outside.

The View - 4 bedroom 3 bath log home with great views

We loved this place! Our familly of 6 plus an infant were all very cozy and very much enjoyed the common areas - dining together out on the deck, indoors at the bar-height table playing games, or downstairs taking in a movie (The Shining!) together. We especially loved the primary suite and private deck. We liked the proximity to downtown and all of us walked that hill at least once, but we often took our vehicle because of the baby. The proximity to RMNP was also a plus. Unfortunately, when booking this home, I did not notice that it DOES NOT have AC. It was quite warm during our visit (90s/70s) and at least a few in our party were very uncomfortable trying to sleep at night. Likely would not be a problem if booking outside of mid-summer weeks.

Great place to stay! Spacious, clean and comfortable. Convenient to the park but away from the downtown busy-ness.
